2. l'interno della scarpa deve essere in cuoio e completamente piatto in senso trasversale
3. sono assolutamente da bandire i rialzi d'arco spesso presenti addirittura nelle scarpe da ginnastica (modificano l'appoggio in modo da aumentare la curva lombare): tagliateli o sostituite la soletta interna, spesso morbida, con una soletta normalissima in cuoio.
4. Un paio di cm di tacco sono solitamente ben tollerati, ma non di più.
